12V Cigarette Lighter Power Socket Adapter

This 12V cigarette lighter (also known as, accessory) plug socket allows you to wire your dash cam directly to the car electronics via the standard cigarette lighter cable, usually provided with your dash cam. Complete with fuse, this wiring kit allows you to wire your camera discreetly into your car.

Please note that the red wire connects to the gold connector held in place with a screw. The black wire connects to the silver connector. If the adapter is connected the wrong way, the camera and power cable will overheat and be damaged.

For a quick and easy installation without soldering you can combine this hardwire kit with the Piggyback Fuse Holder. Some tools may be required.

We strongly recommend that you hire a fully qualified, insured, and experienced auto-electrician to install the hardwire kit for you. Returns

You are welcome to return products purchased from us for an exchange or refund as you prefer within 30 days. Items do need to be returned to us and the cost of this is your responsibility unless the camera is faulty. Read more on our returns policy.
