Installation Terms & Conditions

Experience seamless installation with our expert mobile service for your dash camera system. Conveniently add this service during your dash camera configuration or as a standalone purchase. Complete a straightforward form with details about your vehicle, and after your purchase, our team will promptly reach out to confirm your preferred installation date or provide alternative options that align with your schedule. 

Note: The product we would be installing needs to be new and unopened!

  • 1 Year warranty on equipment and labour.
  • No need to travel – Our convenient mobile installation service ensures a skilled engineer comes to your preferred location to install your new or existing system (Must provide a secure work location, like a driveway).
  • You have the flexibility to cancel the installation up to 36 hours before the scheduled appointment. Beyond this timeframe, a cancellation charge of £45 will be applicable. If the cancellation occurs on the day of the appointment, the full amount will be charged.
  • Full refund if the engineer can’t attend.

Installation Conditions

NEW UNITS ONLYWe exclusively only provide installation services for NEW and UNUSED dash cams that are accompanied by either a Hardwire cable or cigarette plug.
PRE & POST INSTALLATION CHECKSTo ensure you are satisfied and have tested the functionality of your dashcam, we kindly request someone to be present during the initial 15 minutes and the final 15 minutes of the installation.
CANCELLATIONSIf you need to cancel, or move your appointment we must be notified 36 hours in advance. If you cancel on the day of the appointment the full amount will be charged as a cancellation fee. Outside of this there is a cancellation fee of £45.00 +VAT for a service visit, £160 +VAT for appointments of 1-4 hours, or £250 +VAT if we have booked an entire day for you.
WEEKENDSOur engineers do work weekends however as these are a desirable date we cannot confirm that these days will be available within the 10-day timescale however we will work with you to find the best suitable date
BAD WEATHERWe may need to reorganise the installation due to adverse weather conditions, however we will contact you at the time to assess the situation
INSTALLATION ISSUES

Regrettably, certain vehicle designs may pose challenges for the installation of rear Dash Cams. Refer to the following list of identified vehicles that are not conducive to installation:
– Jaguar I PACE – All years
– Mercedes AMG GT – All years
– Mercedes SLS – All years
– Range Rover Vogue – 2014 – Present
– Range Rover Sport – 2014 – Present
– Tesla Model X – All years

If you need to uninstall a dashcam for reinstallation in a new vehicle, please be aware that additional charges may apply for adhesive pads and brackets.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have the property owner’s consent and it’s off-road, we can accommodate fitting the camera at most locations.

Our engineers ensure a clean installation by hiding wires behind the vehicle’s trim. While the majority will be concealed, a small amount may be visible from the trim to the camera.

We require a full working day’s notice for any amendments. If you cancel on the day, unfortunately, a cancellation fee will be charged before any work can take place.

Our engineers focus on installing the camera. While they won’t provide a tutorial, you can refer to the user manual for comprehensive information. If further assistance is needed, feel free to contact our Technical department at support@fleetwitness.co.uk

Our goal is to complete the installation within 10 days. However, weekends and certain remote locations may require additional planning, and we’ll discuss this with you once you’ve entered your preferred dates.
