The Nextbase iQ dash camera is a front and internal facing camera in one unit, you are also able to connect a rear camera to this system allowing you to record what is happening in-front, inside and behind your vehicle for optimum protection.
The iQ features built-in GPS and Wi-Fi. This allows you to have your vehicle speed and location information recorded as well as being able to easily access the footage and camera settings from your mobile device.
Recording Quality
You have three resolution options for the front/ interior camera, these are 1080P, 2K or 4K. No matter which option you go for, you can rest assured your dash cam will have an amazing view, this is thanks to the 140° field of view of the front camera and a huge 180° for the interior camera. The optional rear camera also boasts 2K recording quality with an 140° viewing angle, ensuring as much of your vehicle is protected as possible.
Parking Mode
The Nextbase iQ features Smart sense parking mode, providing the ultimate protection to your vehicle when you are away from it. Nextabse has created the Smart Sense AI to monitor movement around your vehicle and alert you if it detects suspicious behavior. This allows you to be notified in real time of a potential threat to your vehicle and intervene, instead of being caught off guard when you return to it and find damage.

Emergency SOS
In case the worst happens, and you’re involved in a serious accident, you want to know help is on the way.
iQ’s emergency SOS will automatically alert emergency services of your location if you’re unresponsive after a collision, and share any stored medical information, like your blood type or known conditions, to get you the right help
Witness Mode
The Nextbase iQ always has your back during an incident. Simply say “start Witness Mode” anytime and the iQ will share live footage with a trusted contact, allowing them to see and hear what is happening.

iQ Subscriptions are one of the most important factors of the iQ, giving you more of an option choosing which features are crucial to you instead of one fixed plan.
In the initial set up of your iQ, you’ll be offered one of the three subscription plans to choose from, Solo, Protect and Protect Plus. As a first time iQ buyer, you’ll be given 1 month free for a plan of your choice, but better yet you’ll have the opportunity to change your subscription at any time.
Once you have chosen your subscription plan and finished your iQ setup, your iQ will be ready to go with all the features you have received from your subscription choice.
