The F770-1Ch is one of Thinkware’s most recent releases.The cameras improved design makes it the most discreet Thinkware camera available. The F770 boasts new features such as ‘Time Lapse’ that dramatically extends the parked recording hours and ‘Super Night Vision’, a night image correction feature. The camera also retains its highly popular safety camera notification feature.
When you connect your mobile device to the camera over Wi-Fi you are able to watch the camera live, review and download footage and change the settings of the camera to your preference. Through the use of the GPS the camera is able to locate the vehicle and monitor the speed and direction of travel to provide court admissible evidence if an accident occurs.
The F770 has four different recording modes and will switch between them automatically.
Continuous Recording-Â When the engine is switched on the F50 will start recording automatically and will continue in this mode during normal driving conditions.
Event Recording-Â If the G-Shock sensor is triggered a 10 second pre and post-impact video clip is saved providing a 20 second clip of the entire event.
Parking Mode-Â This is when the camera records when the ignition is off and the camera has been hard-wired into the vehicle.
Manual recording-Â When the REC button is pressed, a manual event is created that saves a 60 second video clip of the event.
When the safety camera feature is enabled it will alert you when approaching one of four types of cameras. Fixed speed cameras, red light cameras, average speed cameras and mobile speed camera zones. Please note that this can disabled within the settings.
The F770 comes with a hard-wire kit so you can use the parking mode feature of this camera, if you wish this to be swapped for a cigarette lead let us know. Using a cigarette lead will disable the parking mode function of the camera.
